The “day dress” category may be one of the hardest to shop for. I scour my favorite sites each season and maybe come up with 5 at the most. I am not quite sure why there aren’t more better made, yet still affordable, and not too young looking day dresses. So, when I see a good one, I always snag it right away.
This one is by Zara and it is under $50
Day dresses are good for church, lunch dates, travel, brunch or a baby/wedding shower. I like that you can dress them up with a heel or a strappy sandal; or dress down with tennis shoes or like I did with a shorter cowboy boot. Hats are also becoming a new favorite in California. Since it is sunny here majority of the time, you have to protect your face!
