Our Weekend

Happy Sunday! Hope everyone had a great weekend. It was another beautiful few days in Kansas City. I had fun photographing a few families this weekend; with the weather turning and the leaves changing it was the most gorgeous backdrop!

We had a very low key Friday. The kids were EXHAUSTED…so tired that this one fell asleep on the couch before dinner. Clutching a bowl of pretzels 🙂

Saturday morning a friend and I got into line early to attend the grand opening at the new Blue Mercury store. They were giving away sample bags to the first 100 customers. I can’t say the sample bags were worth the wait, but I was able to pick up a few things I wanted.

I picked up my favorite Fresh body lotion and a new Bobbi Brown lipgloss…high shimmer in “Sequin”. Such a pretty shade of pink with flecks of gold and bronze!

Saturday night we went to Lumine Salon’s re-launch and branding celebration. We had so much fun! Afterwards we grabbed a few drinks with friends at Louie’s Wine Dive

Today I had my holiday Style Market at Health House. Thank you to everyone that came and shopped! It’s always a fun afternoon with my entrepreneurial girlfriends.

I am exhausted, and glad to bring this weekend to a close! I have a busy work week, along with our big school charity function/auction. The theme is walk of fame…red carpet/hollywood glam. I am trying to pick my look! Loving these from Kate and Reese…which is your favorite?

Off to get some rest! Have a great week everyone!

  1. What a fun, action-packed weekend! Sorry that the sample bags weren’t that great at Blumercury though 🙁

Okay, if possible – could you please find out where that “Pizza Is The New Kale” shirt is sold? LOVE IT! I tried looking it up online and couldn’t find it.

Hope you have a wonderful upcoming week!

    1. Hey Liz…it’s by Namastamy KC…she doesn’t have a website, but if you contact her via Facebook I bet she could mail you one if you don’t live in Kansas City.
