Color Crush: Paprika

When I was a clothing buyer at Mark Shale, I bought designer collections. One of them being Eileen Fisher. While the silhouettes were not necessarily my style at the time ( I was only in my mid 20’s!) I always appreciated her beautiful fabrics and classic pieces.

Eileen Fisher has evolved over the years, appealing to a wide age range. When I shopped in their Country Club Plaza store I saw things I would wear, my mom would love, and my grandmother would appreciate.  Her sweaters are impeccable, she has some great fitting denim (with a flattering high rise and pocket placement) and her outerwear is spot on!

I am obsessed with this Paprika color for fall; it is one that I never thought I could wear! But after trying it on, it is really flattering. I now own multiple items in this pretty, warm shade of orange.

This on trend slip dress was easy, breezy. I would wear this for work with a blazer or how I styled it here. It is obviously cute just on its own as a slip dress. The crepe is heavy enough that you don’t have to layer it with anything if you don’t want to. You could also throw this on over a black turtleneck, with tall boots for fall. It is a great piece!

This “faux leather” coated cotton motorcycle jacket is perfect for those of you who want a vegan option! It is super lightweight, which is great for if you get hot easily. This would also be a great piece to pack for travel.

Dress: Slip Dress in Tencel Viscose Crepe in Paprika, Organic Cotton Waxed Motorcycle Jacket all from Eileen Fisher Country Club Plaza store. Bag: Loeffler Randall, Shoes (old but similar here) and here, Sunglasses: Barton Perreira Dalziel
