Travel: Mexico Part 2 // One and Only Palmilla

I have had a lot of questions about staying at the One and Only Palmilla in Cabo, so I thought I would just share a little bit about our experience here. I had heard so many things about the One and Only over the years, and so I was anxious to finally see it for ourselves. We went for the first time last Thanksgiving, and decided to go back for our summer vacation trip because we loved it so much.

and by the way, my pics just don’t do it justice! It is really spectacular! Definitely one of the best, if not the best places we have stayed…

There is a chapel on site that is stunning. I hope one of my children decides to get married here one day! It is just so special and perfect 🙂

Spa/Outdoor Yoga/Smoothie Bar/Fitness room area. The spa is really amazing, and definitely worth the splurge!

Kids Pool: They have the most wonderful pool attendant/lifeguard that plays with the kids, does water balloons, has toys for the little ones, etc. There is a zero entry area for babies as well.  You can also book a foot massage poolside!!!! Probably one of my favorite amenities they offer 🙂

They have probably 1 of 2 swimmable beaches in Cabo, at the Palmilla. It is amazing, and the kids love to spend a lot of time down there! There is also a restaurant and cabanas that you can rent

The bathrooms are beyond!!

In November we got a room that has its own pool. It was pricey but pretty awesome. The kids would wake up and swim, or do night swims before bed. It is farther away from everything, so keep that in mind

Restaurants: There are 5 restaurants on site. Agua, which is large table dining and not my favorite (slow service, just ok food). Breeze which is great for breakfast and lunch (sits facing the water, all outdoor dining), They also are now serving dinner and traditional mexican fare and they have live music there most nights. There is a beach restaurant called Pelican Beach Grill which has a limited menu but good for if you want lunch while hanging at the beach.

My favorites are Seared which is an incredible steakhouse by Jean Georges and Suviche. They have incredible sushi and live entertainment most nights within the restaurant. The band that plays is SO so GOOD.  You can always go to Suviche just for cocktails too, they have a great bar and seating area

We did a Tequila tasting one afternoon at Breeze that was REALLY  cool. It was fun to try some high end, different Tequila brands that we had never had before.

You can also request beachside smores, which is really amazing. We didn’t do that, but definitely next time!

Thank you as always to the One & Only Palmilla for taking great care of us! You will not find better service (in my opinion!) They are the best of the best!
