Summer Swim Edit

As I get older, I begin to dread having to get my swimwear situation together. It is getting harder to find age appropriate, not super skimpy but still cute swimsuits. I do still wear a 2 piece, but I have been throwing some 1 piece suits in each season. I love that there are so many amazing 1 piece styles these days! My kids love the beach and the pool, and we will travel this summer where a cute swimsuit and coverup is needed! So, I have been on the hunt to find a few to get me through the summer. Also, living at the beach now you never know when you may need a suit. So, I am trying to get a few that I love and few comfortable in that I know will get me through the year.

I do tend to spend more on swimsuits; gone are the days when I could shop at Target or Old Navy. I need a better fit and fabric; something that will hold up and keep its shape. I have always been happier when I have spent a little more to find the best suit for my body.

I was happy to find this Tori Praver suit at our local Diane’s Beach Shop. It is a great fit, and I love the color. I have a bigger bottom half, and a c-section scar which limits the bottoms I can wear. These actually cover my booty without being too full coverage which I like.  I am also drawn to these sportier top styles right now, which are great for when you are active at the beach or in the water with your kiddos. I also have NO boobs, which makes it hard to find suits that look good. I don’t love my chest in most suits, but at least this one is comfortable!
