When we were in California I discovered Lou & Grey. It is a boutique in The Point (In Manhattan Beach). I had looked in the windows before taking my Soul Cycle class and I fell in love. The entire aesthetic of the store, the attention to detail, the soft fabrics, beautiful color palette, and designs were calling my name…
I can’t tell you how much I love this store; it is the perfect mix of boho/classic/sophisticated/chic. They have great basics that don’t look “basic”. They use super soft, easy to care for fabrics. And they do a great job in providing a color palette that allows you to mix and match pieces with ease. It felt like a mix between Club Monaco, J.Crew and Zara. Literally, the perfect combination! Prices range between $20-$150 (most around $40-$50)
The day I happened to be there they were having a huge sale; an additional 40% off sale items, and then $50 off if you spend $150 or more. I got 6 great mix and match items that are great for summer and into early fall. I love all of the combos I was able to put together with these pieces.
One of my favorite pieces is this silver/grey cami (sold out online) I will wear this under sweaters or blazers or on its own on a hot day. I paired it with their distressed chino (also sold out)
This sweater has quickly become one of my favorite pieces. It’s a great thing to throw on when you are in a cold restaurant or when you travel (it’s currently $34.99 and an additional 40% off! I am wearing XS…it runs big) It also comes in a tan/white combo, which I am going to buy at that price!

This cami is so cute on, love the length and the open back with tie. It’s sold out of solids, but currently still available in prints.
My other favorite purchase is this blazer/sweater thing…I am so bummed it’s sold out, because it’s such a good piece! It’s one of those versatile items I can throw on with pants or jeans, over a dress or even to dress up these shorts.
I love their slipdress; drapey and super soft, with adjustable straps. This is a piece that travels great! I wore this out with the sweater over it on vacation.
I was not able to find every single piece I bought online (you could always call a Lou & Grey store). Lou & Grey is also available in select Loft stores around the country.
