Halls; our gorgeous department store in Kansas City turns 100 this year! They have been bringing cutting edge fashion to KC for the last century, and they are celebrating…
throughout the store they have vignettes celebrating all of the decades of fashion; you will find cool old photos of Hall’s, as well as vintage clothing that is to die for. It was fun to take a trip back in time, and to see how many styles have come back into fashion!
Amy @stepsofstyle and I spent a fun afternoon scoping out some items for fall, and lunching at their in store cafe.
My favorite section is of course the bags. I am a Prada girl, and I loved seeing the new styles/colors for the season.
I love that their styles are so classic; you will never tire of a Prada bag 🙂 They also have a great selection of Gucci, Loeffler Randall, Rebecca Minkoff and Tory Burch
Amy fell in love with some Tom Ford’s in the sunglass department
We admired the beautiful shoe department. From Rag & Bone to Sam Edelman, they have a good mix of price points.
We scoured sale racks and checked out the new goods…
Drooled over the beautiful pieces from Vince…
I tried on a few things! Loving this Milly Sweater and Frame Denim. This season is all about the distressed or cutoff bottom. We are seeing a lot of cropped denim styles for Fall as well..
They had great mid-weight outerwear perfect for Kansas City weather. These jackets were all under $150
The bomber is the “it” jacket this season; and how about that photo bomber in the back?! Thanks Amy 🙂
This was my favorite!!! Cupcakes and Cashmere. It’s fitted, and I like the fitted knit cuffs. This is cute with a tee and jeans, or you could throw it on over a dress too for a dressier look
Love the shape of this Cupcakes and Cashmere coat…
Fell in love with this oversized sweater; I would wear this non-stop! Great with jeans, or even with a pair of leggings and boots.
This season you will be seeing cutout shoulders or off the shoulders EVERYWHERE. I thought this sweatshirts with cutouts is a fun way to wear the trend
Sleeveless sweaters are also coming back. These are good for early fall, you can also layer with a long sleeve tee underneath when it gets colder outside
I bought this Tibi sweater because it was so unique and something I can wear a bunch of different ways. It was originally $400 and I got it for $100! Their sale is an ADDITIONAL 4o% off now! It is not to be missed!
Their beauty and cosmetics department is my weakness!
I have been going to the Chanel girls for almost 13 years; I love Janet and Madeleine. They always show me just the right thing to buy. I ended up getting the new eyeshadow quad from Chanel for Fall. It makes a gorgeous brown, smoky eye. I am obsessed!
We ended our day with a fabulous lunch. The salmon salad is SO good; it was buttery and perfect!
