With my house guests, my husband traveling and Halloween it has been a bit of a crazy week!
We had so much fun with my parents, brother and his girlfriend in town last weekend. My parents live in Arizona which is a quick drive, and my brother and his girlfriend live in NYC, and it has been a year since I have seen them!
We took them to downtown Manhattan Beach on Friday; shopped our favorite stores and then grabbed dinner at Nick’s which we hit up on a weekly basis. If you ever come to MB, it’s super easy and great for the kids with an outdoor area off the patio where the kids can run. I almost always get the salmon, it is just SO good!
Saturday the boys went to the USC football game, so us girls went to Platform LA which is a very cool shopping/dining area in Culver City (about 20-25 min from Manhattan Beach)
They have unique stores that you won’t find everywhere else. I was so happy that they have Reformation; which I have typically bought online.
I got Vivi this beret at Reformation 🙂
And myself this green dress which I may wear to a fun 30th birthday party mid November, and it will also go with us to Mexico this month as well.
There is a gorgeous lighting store called Tom Dixon; a Janessa Leone (my favorite hats!) store, Aesop, a super cute swim/beachwear store, a high end men’s store, Soul Cycle, Sweetgreens, and a few other great little restaurants.
They had a really fun pumpkin patch for the kids at the back of Platform. There was an adorable shop with cute toys, costumes, and halloween party supplies.
There was also a pumpkin patch, small petting zoo, blow up slide, face painting, balloon making and pumpkin decorating!
We had so much fun there, I can’t wait to go back!
My parents were able to stay with us until Tuesday which was so nice! They were a huge help when I wasn’t feeling all that well this week.
We also loved hosting Shane and Ana, can’t wait to make a trip to NYC to see them soon!
