Our Weekend

We had a really low key weekend (again). It is just so cold, its hard to be motivated to do much! I got out Thursday night with some girlfriends for dinner. I wore these leopard pants by Frame, and I can’t tell you how much I love them. They are currently 50% off, shop HERE. I got them at Clique in PV but this was the last pair 🙁  I am wearing a size 2 for reference.

Saturday Jon and I met some friends for lunch at the new Ainsworth in Park Place. It is such a great spot for a mimosa brunch, or lunch and game watching. I will be sharing more on what we loved at The Ainsworth in an upcoming blog post.

This drink, called the “Crooked Knife” with jalapeno infused vodka, lemon and agave was the favorite of the table. Just don’t eat the pepper (like Jon did!) He was breathless, sweating and tearing up for a while 🙂 Ha!

Saturday night we tried out Charleston’s which is a new restaurant in the Ward Parkway Mall. The VP of Houston’s is now the President of this Edmond Oklahoma based restaurant. Guys, it was SO good. I had heard the food was similar to Houston’s and they really are! I was pleasantly surprised by not only the food but the atmosphere as well. They have spinach dip, the really good chicken fingers, a bunch of great salads and a pork chop that is to die for. The only thing they were missing is the Ahi Tuna! I had this champagne chicken salad and it was delicious.

Health House is the studio of the month for Athleta on the Country Club Plaza. Jackie Church hosted a med ball workout that was KILLER. Thank you Jackie! It was great to get a good sweat on a freezing Sunday morning. You can take a free class with Jackie Sciara and Amy Person the next 2 Sundays at Athleta.

Thanks to all of you for your rug suggestions. I went with the leopard, which is bold, but I really love it! The brand is Dash and Albert and you can find it HERE. It is high quality and meant for high traffic areas. If you are a first time shopper on the site, you can get 15% off your purchase, so I did save almost $60 on the rug, which was good!

RUG, STOOL, LUCITE FOLDING TRAY (SIMILAR HERE) , BLACK LEATHER BENCH. Artwork above the bench is from a gallery in Chicago, purchased many years ago! The Mirror was inherited from Jon’s Grandmother.
