Our Weekend

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you enjoyed the weekend!

Friday Jon and Vivi had the father/daughter dance at school. This was a highly anticipated event; I am not sure who was more excited, Jon or Vivi?

I looked forever to find her a dress online, but was striking out. Luckily, I found her this cute sequin stripe dress on the clearance rack at the Gap (it is now down to $27!). I took her to Flatiron District in Waldo to get her hair done. They made it look like a little bow on the back of her head; it was adorable! Complete with a little sequin hair pin. She loved it!

They are twins!

The theme was candyland. How hilarious is this pic taken by a friend at the dance. There was also face painting at the dance; for a minute I thought she had a black eye 🙂

Saturday I squeezed in a workout. I am LOVING these Nike speed running tights. They are a 7/8″ leg which is my favorite. I hardly wear crops anymore! They come up high and have a tie waistband. The fabric is different than any other workout pants I have. They come in a few colors. I have the navy and a pretty tan color. Also, they are $70 (which is not too bad in the realm of workout wear). Tank by Outdoor Voices, Jacket by Nike , shoes Nike Metcon 3 in white/gold

Good thing I worked out, because Saturday night we had a feast at our friends Birthday party! The taco bar was SO much fun! We had a great time celebrating our friend Trace’s birthday. Thank you Julia and Trace for hosting!

Outfit of the night: Blouse: similar here, Jeans, (can’t stop wearing these!) bag, shoes, belt

Sunday was a cleaning/laundry day and a little bit of relaxing in between!

Sunday night we took the kids to a KC Comets indoor soccer game. It was Star Wars night, and they had a blast! It brought back so many childhood memories for me. Living in Minnesota, we spent every weekend at Minnesota Strikers indoor games.

PS these Star Wars costumes were legit! The kids were just a little intimidated by Darth Vader 🙂

Hope you all had a great weekend! Enjoy the week!
