Hope you all had a great weekend! Ours was not super exciting. But it didn’t really matter because, THE WEATHER and all of THE SUNSHINE! It was miraculous. I could actually walk my dog and not freeze my ass off for once! That alone made the weekend amazing 🙂
Friday I did a little shopping at the Standard Style sale. Everything was 50% off the lowest markdown price. So I got incredible deals on these two dresses. The green slip dress by Tibi I am taking to a trip to Napa this May for a 40th birthday.
This long sleeve printed Ganni will be perfect for some upcoming speaking engagements I have
Friday was also cut and color day. There really isn’t anything better, especially in the middle of winter. We just added highlights this time around, because my natural color (the darker tones) have been coming through. We have worked 6 months to get to this color, and I am extremely happy with it. The Balyage has gotten me to a place where my roots aren’t so bad, and the color looks more natural. I also feel like my hair is much healthier!
Go see Colby at Lumine Salon for a consultation. She really is amazing!
Friday night we literally had an hour and half to grab a quick bite to eat. One child was at a school function and the other was with some friends. So we raced down to Capital Grille for dinner. It was fast and furious but nice to have some alone time, if just for an hour!
We had a video shoot at Health House on Saturday. you can see the old one HERE. Our clients really brought their A-Game and the energy to all of the classes!
I walked in to see two of my favorite HH girls also sporting the same top 🙂 A lot of people have asked, and these are Lululemon tanks that we had our logo put on. If you don’t follow Courtney and Rachel, you should! Both have inspiring instagram with an emphasis on Health + Fitness. They are fabulous examples of living a healthy life in balance.
We had our clients use the boards to write why they Row. It was fun to see everyone’s answers. How cute is Julian’s 🙂 He’s so sweet!
I row for many reasons; but mainly because it keeps me sane! It is my therapy, my escape, and my happy place. It is hard as hell, but I always feel so much stronger and better afterwards! Also, the benefits of staying in shape are always a plus. I can really tell a difference when I haven’t been doing the rower; those little bursts of cardio a few days a week are crucial.
Saturday night we had some friends and their kids over for pizza and cocktails. We literally just sat and ate, drank and laughed. Sometimes those are the best nights!
Cheers to a great week everyone!
