I hope you all had a great weekend! I just can’t believe it is August already and that the summer is winding down. While I am SO ready to get back into a routine, I am always sad for summer to end. We had a great few months, packed with fun events, travel and just the laid back schedule of summer.
The Park Place paint the night fashion show happened on Saturday evening. It was a lot of work leading up to it, but I was so happy with how it came together! This year I also got to emcee the event which was fun!
here are some of the looks from the show…
Left 3 looks from Alysa Rene Boutique, Turquoise Necklace by Kansas City designer Jet Couture from Tallulahbelles
Two piece outfit from Etiquette Boutique
Polo by Psycho Bunny from Geno’s Clothiers, Sunglasses by Persol from Romanelli Sun Galleria
My friend Amy from Steps of Style was also in the show…if you don’t follow her on instagram you should! She is just as funny as she is pretty! love this girl! A fashion blogger and a fashion model trying to take a photo is high maintenance 🙂 Thanks to her husband Tom for catching this moment
Amy’s look is from Etiquette Boutique
Thank you to everyone who modeled, and to all the stores for their hard work in pulling this together! Hair and Makeup was by Michael Shae salon and day spa, also in Park Place.
My intern Sydney was a huge help! She attended every model fitting and outfit selection…I could not have done the event without
Sunday my husband and I attended a VIP event at the new Republica restaurant opening on the Plaza. Bread and Butter Concepts (Gram and Dun, Urban Table, etc) have put out another outstanding restaurant! You will love the decor which feels like you are in someone’s home…so welcoming and warm. The Spanish style tapas are delicious, and they will have daily Paella specials to choose from. I really am excited to go back for the full menu! This photo is taken in their lobby…
It was a busy and fun weekend, I am glad it’s over and now I can relax a bit before we get the kids off to school! Don’t forget in Missouri it is tax free shopping for back to school! We will definitely be hitting up some of our favorite stores this weekend!
