Hot Spots

Leopard is not just a trend, in my eyes it is a neutral pattern that is here to stay. I have been wearing leopard in small doses since 2010. But this season is definitely heavier on the leopard print. I am seeing it in every way possible, from outerwear, to dresses, blouses, skirts, handbags and shoes. If you wanted to purchase some leopard, this season would be the time to do it!

Halls has a huge selection this fall, and they have great displays throughout the store showing how to wear it. I like the idea of somehow incorporating it into your work wardrobe as well as your casual wardrobe.

This leopard velvet by Frame is incredible. It is super light and soft. It is a piece that you could throw on over a simple outfit and it immediately creates a statement. I always like to mix leopard with a brighter pop of color like Orange or Green. This poppy colored blouse is the perfect compliment.

Leopard doesn’t have to be dressy! I am loving it in this sweatshirt by Scotch & Soda at Halls. Throw this on with jeans and booties, or wear it oversized with leggings and a pair of tennis shoes.
