Fall Shoe Edit

I think most would agree, we look forward to fall boots/shoes. I don’t miss the midwest cold, but I do kind of miss the gear 🙂 As crazy as that sounds! This season there are are classic staples making a return, and newness that will give you something to get excited about.

Snake, Python and animal prints are EVERYWHERE. I personally like a subtle leopard flat, or a croc effect boot in solid. Either way, you will have a TON of options this season!

Sneakers are a must have. They are your new “flats”; literally wear them with everything. I get asked a lot if Golden Goose are worth it and I would say 100% yes because of the platform insole, and how comfortable they are. I wear them constantly! But, if you feel like they are played out, or you want to see something new there are some other great options.

Cowboy boots. You will be seeing this all over the place. In both a short “bootie” more subtle version, and in the full blown western style that goes up past your calf. I got 2 pairs; a neutral and black and I am wearing them a lot surprisingly. I wore my black ones a lot with just skinny black denim and a sweater last fall. Also, loving them with longer dresses and skirts. I bought a shortie pair of Isabel Marant last fall and they were my favorite “splurge” of the season.

Heels are getting shorter this season. It is much more about the “kitten” heel, and also lower slingback styles. This ladylike look is great with all of the cropped pants and denim that we are seeing for fall.

Winter Boots are very chic this season. Many designers have come out with some sort of lug sole, shearing style. I think it less about the Sorel, and more about new and unique winter boot styles. I am obsessed with THESE, which look so comfortable!
