Can’t Live Without: Blazers

Most people associate a blazer with a more professional look. I on the other hand sport a blazer as often as possible. I of course love them with my jeans, but don’t be afraid to layer them over a sundress, with a skirt or a pair of shorts. I love the blazer because it’s a season-less basic that will get TONS of mileage in your closet

This look is so simple, yet so incredibly chic! A white blazer with some fun details paired with a simple grey tee and a cool pendant. Love this.

The Rebecca Taylor pictured above is no longer available. But, don’t be sad because this Rebecca Minkoff is perfection! The fit is impeccable and it would be a fabulous year-round piece.

I could not have found a better pic to show how versatile a blazer is. One of these stunners is sporting her blazer more casually with shorts (maybe even cut-offs, it’s hard to tell in the pic) a simple tee and cool flat sandals. She kept the accessories simple with a small scarf and fabulous sunnies.

I really am loving a blazer over a long dress to break up the maxi and give the body some shape. The cutaway style of this blazer is gorgeous.

I have 2 favorite black blazers right now. One is the same as the White by Rebecca Minkoff. I am obsessed with the silhouette and would love to own this jacket. It’s pricier, but I believe a basic like this is a timeless investment

Zara makes a fabulous basic black blazer for only $79. It’s pretty classic but it is a style that would look good dressed up or down.

And if you are looking for inspiration this summer, do a bright blazer over a white or neutral dress. How cute is this whole ensemble?

recreate the look with another blazer by Zara. This comes in 5 fun candy colored shades…

throw it on over this precious lace dress from MM Couture. Only $99!

  1. Love this post! I have been digging blazers lately, too. I just got the cutest turquoise style from LAmade. Have you heard of this brand? Really reasonable. Question-this particular blazer has a single button. Is it a faux-pas to wear that style over a dress? I noticed most of the blazers you pictured were without buttons. My mom actually just got the most adorable(two-button) blazer jacket from Kate Spade. It is called the Alix. I am debating getting one for myself. : )
