Over the last 10 years that we have lived in KC, I have had the pleasure getting to know so many great small business owners. As a writer for the Kansas City Star, then Simply KC Magazine, my blog and writing for Spaces I was constantly interacting with boutiques across the city. I value these people and their families who hustle day in and day out to build a thriving business.
Abby owner of Lady Bye and Coco in Brookside is one of those amazing women who does it all with style and grace. If you have met her, you know how kind she is and how passionate she is about her business. She also has an incredible staff, which is why she is so successful! As a small biz owner you can’t be everywhere at once, you have to surround yourself with great people to keep that business afloat.
Here is one of my final looks that I styled from Lady Bye. I absolutely LOVE these shorts, that resemble a skirt. Great for date night, or even dressed down with a simple tank and flat sandals. This button back top I have been wearing a lot with different things in my closet, it looks great with anything high waisted. I have been wearing these suede shoes CONSTANTLY, they go with everything and are so comfortable. Shop them HERE. Bag is also from Lady Bye.
Abby, I have loved working with you and your two boutiques this past year! I can’t wait to see your stores flourish and I will shop when I come back to visit! They are having a great summer sale right now, and a sidewalk sale coming up this next weekend! You can also shop online HERE.
